Dateline: 12-27-21 – Greetings fellow Corvette owners and lovers. December 18 was a very busy day for many of us. Not only did we have our monthly Corvette Car Show on a stunningly beautiful day, but later in the afternoon and into the early evening, we had our Annual Highlands County Corvettes Christmas Party. More on the party in the next post.
We had 26 Corvettes, that’s one more than we had last December.
A nice addition to our Corvette Car Show was a generous gift from the Lake Placid Wawa Store. Wawa donated five large containers of hot coffee and LOTS of soft pretzels and chocolate chip cookies. Yea, Corvettes, coffee, cookies, and pretzels too! A big THANKS to our local Wawa. Have you tried their custom sandwiches? Any way you like!
Our 50/50 payout was $50 and our Winner was Dennis DeNooy.
We are all blessed with not only living in the best nation on Earth, the United States of America, but the best state in the Union, Florida!
